Hedera18: First Look at the Hedera Hashgraph Conference

Unless you’ve been on a long vacation under a rock you may have heard that Hedera announced their public Hashgraph platform earlier this year and in the following months have made quite a few waves in the DLT pool. Hashgraph has shown an extensive amount of potential with both the public Hedera, and private Swirlds platform. At TxMQ as an early partner, we have followed their journey closely and are excited to announce our sponsorship and support of Hedera18, the first Hedera Hashgraph Developer conference in Dallas, Texas October 15th through the 17th.

The conference, hosted by our Distributed Ledger partners at Hedera Hashgraph, is a two day event filled with educational lectures, prize giveaways, and featuring Hedera’s first Decentralized Hashgraph Hackathon, in anticipation of Hedera’s soon to be released public ledger.

Make no mistake, this event is designed by developers for developers! The focus of the event is to increase the reach of Hashgraph technology and hone the developer experience to ensure that incoming and existing Hashgraph developers have all the proper tools at hand for productivity on their own Hashgraph projects. There will be an exciting line-up of technical and business Subject Matter Experts in the DLT space, including our very own Development Lead helming the effort on our own Hashgraph builds, Craig Drabik. We may be geeking out a little here, but there will most definitely be excitement in the air as the Hedera technical discussions & updates emerge during the conference.

Developers entering the challenge will have some stiff competition for great prizes, as they battle it out during the Hedera Hackathon. Obviously one of the bigger goals here is for developers to come in and gain some knowledge, learn a few new skills, and discover some of the feature benefits that Hedera Hashgraph has to offer.

TxMQ will of course be there, sharing some knowledge and maybe even a few updates on the Hashgraph and DLT projects we’ve been working on. We are also slated to present at the event so be sure to keep an eye out as the presentation schedule gets posted. Don’t forget to stop by our booth for a quick chat, and enter for a chance to win exciting giveaways that will be announced closer to the conference date. Freebees aside, the real excitement here for everyone, is being part of this growing community and the advancements it will bring to the DLT space and technologies!

If you haven’t registered already, you can sign up here, we hope to see you there. If you’d like to set up a more personal meeting during the conference, reach out to us here. We’d love to hear from you.
